Hello everyone! We have good news – we now have a debit machine! So, we can accept debit (interac), VISA or MASTERCARD! So no more running to the bank machine to make your purchase. Thanks so much for your patience while we made this happen!

Don’t forget to stop in and see our new items – giftware, inspirational books, fiction and more! And if there’s something you’d like that you don’t see, let us know! We’d be happy to order it in for you!

We know that many people simply don’t carry cash any more and prefer to use plastic, so we’ve been working on getting a debit machine!  So far, so good… we now have a phone!  Our phone number is (780) 926-2003 so feel free to call any time during our hours of operation to ask questions or make special orders!  We’ll make sure to post it here when the interac is up and running. 

We are constantly getting new stock in, so stop by and see what’s new!  We also have some really nice gift ware, so if you are looking for something for that special someone, think of us!

We decided to start featuring a book every now and then… a book that’s really special. This one is called Tell Me About Heaven. It’s written by Randy Alcorn with beautiful illustrations by Ron DiCianni. It’s a wonderful story of a boy having conversations with his Grandfather. They talk not only about Granny’s death and heaven, but also about the Garden of Eden and other topics as they come up. It’s written so well, and it’s excellent for anyone. It makes a lovely book to read out loud as a bedtime story.

Since we opened, we’ve been ordering new items with a few different suppliers. In the last couple of months, we’ve found a great one, so we’ve brought in lots of great new stuff! Also, whenever we’re open, we put out our lovely signs–one just outside the store and one at the corner near the dollar store!

Midnight madness in High Level is this Friday, November 30! We’ll be open from 3 pm til midnight, so make sure you stop in! There will be lots of things on sale… come and see!

And if you can’t make it on November 30, we are also planning a pre-Christmas sale day on Friday, December 14th. We’ll be open from 12 – 9 pm, with lots of discounts on Christmas ornaments, cards and books!

November is here, and so is winter! That’s okay, we had a pretty nice autumn, didn’t we?

Christmas is coming and in preparation, the Lighthouse has all sorts of Christmas cards! You can buy them individually, or if you’ve got a lot of family and friends to send to, you can look at our boxed sets. Come by and check it out!

We also have some very beautiful ornaments and gifts – there are a few pictures below, and more if you scroll down and look at the “Christmas is Coming” post. To get a better idea of our regular stock, click on the “For Sale” tab near the top of this page.

Also, if you have a look at our hours of operation, you’ll see there have been some changes! We’re no longer open in the mornings, but we’re now open ’til 8 pm on Thursdays in addition to Fridays! We’re working on opening earlier on Fridays, too! And we’ll be open for Midnight Madness in High Level, too! More on that later.
